At the end of the summer term the primary, middle school and high school 1 students attended an English/Science workshop presented by Zoolab. The topic of the event was ‘Evolution’. Our students listened to a talk on the habitats, eating habits and evolution of a number of different creatures. There was a variety of animals/insects for the students to see, touch and hold: a giant African snail, a corn snake, a giant millipede, stick insects, a tarantula spider and a very cute rabbit. It was a great success. Many of the students were extremely brave and were very happy to touch and hold everything, others were happy to watch, but not touch!
