クラブ活動が再開されて、3週にわたって4グループで英語のクイズを作成し、プレゼンテーション形式で問題を出題しました。

そして、グループ対抗で得点を競いました。各グループが創意工夫を凝らし、非常にユニークな問題が出題され、大いに盛り上がりました。このようなクイズ大会を行なうのは、初めての試みでしたが、顧問のリシュマ先生からも”entertaining and successful”と称賛されました。

グループで協力してIpadを使って英語でクイズを作りました。

各グループがプレゼンテーション形式でクイズを出題しました。クイズの中には、校長先生やリシュマ先生も登場しました。

いくつか問題を紹介します。

1. What is the Japanese animation whose main character is Erenn, whose mother was eaten by titan?

2. What is the science fiction movie which describes the war in the Galaxy directed by George Lucas?

3. What did our principal Omata teach before?

4. When I put the numbers in order from 1 to 9, 9 disappeared. Why?

5. I’ll tell you the features of food. It is a black ball. It tastes so sweet. It matches milk tea.

こんな問題もありました。

Do you know him? He is Shodai, a sumo wrestler in Japan. His grandmother’s name is strange.

What is her name? Hint: Shodai is written as “正代” in kanji.

クイズの答えは、1. Attack on Titan 「進撃の巨人」 2. Star Wars 3. biology 「生物」 4. Because 7 ate (8) 9.　「７が9を「食べたから」 5. It is Tapioca.

大関正代（しょうだい）の祖母の名前は正代（まさよ）で、正代正代という名前で「しょうだいまさよ」と読むそうです。

リシュマ先生から “The questions were intelligent, funny and very engaging. Everyone listened intently. I was happy with their presentations.”というコメントもいただきました。英語を楽しみながら学ぶ良い機会になりました。
