★★★英語「ドラマ」授業の報告！！★★★

今年から英語クラス「Advanced Class」に週１回「ドラマ」の授業を導入しております。思春期の生徒がドラマを通して、言葉を表現し、身体を使って表現することの大切さを学習します。更に、この授業は、すべて英語による英語のドラマクラスです。

授業担当者より授業のコメントをご紹介致します。

Kaetsu’s first drama performance is coming up on December 22, 2012．

The students were given the option to choose any play they wanted to perform. All of the students choose “High School Musical”. “High School Musical” is a very popular American movie about the trials and tribulations of being a teenager in high school. The J1 Advanced class will perform “High School Musical- The Audition” which will focus on the main characters Gabriella, Troy, Chad, Taylor, Ryan, Sharpay, Kelsey, Mrs. Darbus, and Coach as they struggle with the fear of being rejected by their peers and having the courage to do what they love- singing and acting in plays. The S1 Advanced class will perform “High School Musical- The Callbacks” which will focus on the main characters juggling their school work, friendships, and the scary task of performing in front of their peers. The J3 Advanced class will perform “The High School Musical- The Prom”. This play sees the main characters as seniors in high school as they are faced with the scary challenge of asking their secret crush to the prom. Watching the students sing, dance, and act their hearts out will make December 22, 2012, a night to remember.
