9月13日から21日まで東京で行われた世界陸上で、本校に縁のある選手たちが多数出場しました

その中で、男子1500mに出場したジェイク・ワイトマン選手 @jakeswightman が見事銀メダルに輝きました
最後の最後まで金メダル争いをし、手に汗握る大接戦でした。
ワイトマン選手は2022年のオレゴン大会の金メダルに続き、2度目の表彰台です✨

Jake Wightman Wins Silver Medal at the World Championships in Tokyo

At the World Athletics Championships held in Tokyo from September 13th to 21st, many athletes with connections to Rikkyo school took part .

Among them, Jake Wightman @jakeswightman competed in the men’s 1500m and won a brilliant silver medal .
He battled for the gold medal right up to the very end in a nail-biting race.
Following his gold medal at the 2022 in Oregon, this marks his second time on the podium ✨.
