Hi everyone, my name is Tina and I’m the new ALT at Seijo. I’m from Toronto, Canada. I came to teach at Seijo with the JET Programme since it’s a unique opportunity to gain more teaching experience, improve my Japanese, and explore Japan. It’s my first time here and I’ve had a great first few weeks. The food is good, the winter weather in Tokyo is warmer than Toronto, and I can find stylish clothing everywhere. I’m enjoying my time getting to know my students and colleagues, as well as exploring more of Japan and learning more about Japanese language and culture while sharing aspects of Canadian life and culture. It warms my heart that many students are very eager to learn. Thanks for having me and I look forward to what the future will bring. よろしくお願いします！
