Day four was a little muggy, and it rained quite a bit in the afternoon. Thankfully no one was caught in the storm!
The morning GPL session was focused on a superpowers activity. The students learned about “kryptonite”, and they began defining their strengths and weaknesses. They were then encouraged to turn their weaknesses into strengths, and they learned even more about their classmates.
In the afternoon we rode the local transit again, almost as smoothly as a local! We made our way to the infamous MIT where we divided into two groups for our campus tour. Both of our guides were Japanese citizens who are studying abroad, so the students were able to experience it through the eyes of a role model with similar life circumstances.
