先日高校生チームについて投稿した、World Scholar’s Cupのグローバルラウンド（タイ・バンコク）に参加した中学生について、今日はご紹介します✨

I recently had the privilege of competing in the World Scholar’s Cup (WSC) Bangkok Global Round.
For this global stage, I formed a mixed international team with two students from School in Indonesia. Overcoming cultural and linguistic boundaries through rigorous collaboration, we successfully qualified for the prestigious Tournament of Champions (ToC) to be held at Yale University this November. It was also a profound honor to represent Japan as an official flag bearer during the ceremonies.
In addition to securing multiple gold and silver medals across both individual and team categories, I was selected as one of the top 8 debaters out of over 500 participants to speak in the “Debate Showcase.” Delivering a speech as the final anchor before a large, discerning audience was an intellectually exhilarating experience.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my teachers, my family, and my exceptional teammates.

先日開催された「World Scholar’s Cup バンコク世界大会（Global Round）」に出場いたしました。
今大会では、国内大会とは異なり、インドネシアの学校の生徒2名と国際混成チームを結成いたしました。言語や文化の壁を越えて協働し、11月にアメリカのイェール大学で開催される決勝大会（Tournament of Champions）への出場権を獲得することができました。また、日本代表として旗手を務めさせていただいたことも大変貴重な経験となりました。

大会では個人・チームともに複数の金・銀メダルを受賞したほか、500名以上の参加者の中から上位8名のみが選出される「ディベートショーケース」のスピーカーに抜擢され、大観衆の前で最終スピーカー（アンカー）として論理を組み立て、スピーチを行う機会にも恵まれました。

これまで支えてくださった先生方、家族、そして素晴らしいチームワークを発揮してくれたチームメイトに心より感謝申し上げます。これからも応援宜しくお願いします！（K.M.さん）
